Terms and Conditions
Our Pre-CHL Private Class is a single-session class that usually lasts about 2 hours. The curriculum is designed for new shooters, those out of practice, or those just wanting a little basic instruction. The Pre-CHL is a basic handgun technique and safety course that will prepare you for the shooting portion of the CHL qualification. We'll cover handgun safety, stance, grip, technique, loading and unloading, and run you through a mock qualification.
Your instructor will provide you with safety glasses, hearing protection and (depending on availability) three to four handguns and ammunition. The weapons provided will give the student a realistic idea of different types of handgun styles, operation and calibers used for concealed carry.
We recommend you bring the following items:
RANGE:
Double Action CHL provides everything you will need at the range.
CLASSROOM:
The classroom portion of the Pre-CHL class is minimal and will be conducted at the range.
NO LOADED WEAPONS will be allowed in the classroom, except by instructors.
You may bring a legal pad or notebook, and writing instruments, but they are not required.
Please notify us in advance of any medical conditions or physical challenges that might effect your ability to take this course. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you provided we are given adequate notice.
You will receive a confirmation email detailing the class schedule and including maps and directions to classroom and range.
